The took on the UOG Club Team, the Tridents MBC. The game was close in the first quarter as the Tritons did race out to 14-0 led but the Tridents MBC came back to make it a 4 point game at 25-21 Tritons, the varsity squad pushed again at the end of the 1st period to make it 33-21 at the end 1st quarter.

The Tritons came out in a smothering defense in the 2nd period to hold the Tridents to 6 points in the quarter, while the Tritons scored 38 points to make it 71-27 at half-time and the game was pretty much over at that point. The Tritons led 94-51 at the end of 3 periods and the final score of 126-73.

The Tritons were led by Anthony Brown with 23 points and Blake Jenkins with 22 points and 11 rebounds while 5 others scored in double figures. The Tridents were led by Elias David with 19 points and 17 points from Jorge Piolo.

The Tritons are 2-0 in the league now while the Tridents fall to 0-2. The UOG Tritons play again Oct. 25 against the MacTech Nerds.
