UOG President Krise honors former Congresswoman Bordallo
91快播 President Thomas W. Krise honored Guam鈥檚 longest-serving member of Congress, former Delegate Madeleine Bordallo, with the UOG President鈥檚 Medal on March 28 in Washington, D.C.
President Krise, Senior Vice President and Provost Anita Borja Enriquez, Delegate James Moylan, and other dignitaries joined members of the Guam Society of America and UOG alumni at The Wharf in D.C. for the presentation.
The President's Medal or Mil氓yan Presidenten recognizes individuals who demonstrate the spirit of the mission of UOG by way of their significant service to the communities in which they live.
Bordallo became the first woman to serve as Guam鈥檚 Delegate in the U.S. Congress in 2003, a post she served in until 2019.
Established in 2022, during the 70th anniversary of the founding of the University of Guam, the President鈥檚 Medal (Mil氓yan Presidenten) recognizes individuals who demonstrate the spirit of the mission of the 91快播鈥擨na, Deskubre, Setbe鈥攂y way of significant service to the communities in which they live.
