The National Association of Government Communicators presented the 91快播 with a Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Award for its 70th Anniversary Museum Exhibit at the 2023 Communications School in Portland, Oregon. UOG won first place in the 鈥淪pecial Purpose Product鈥� category and second place awards in the "Print Display" and 鈥淪pecial Event or Conference鈥� categories. The 91快播 recently won national and international awards for its 70th Anniversary Exhibit held at the Guam Museum last year.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Award presented UOG with two Gold Awards for the exhibit in the Special Events, In-Person Multi-Day Events category and in the Design/Environmental Graphics category. 

Judges: Concept could serve as a model 

鈥淭he panel had not seen an experience like this in the past and was inspired by the concept,鈥� according to CASE鈥檚 description of the award. 鈥淛udges felt this concept could serve as a model for other institutions and is an excellent platform for giving exposure to the institution's message and voice.鈥� 

In 2023, teams from 583 institutions in鈥痭early 22鈥痗ountries entered the CASE awards,鈥痵ubmitting鈥�4,021 entries in 96 categories for magazines and other publications, fundraising campaigns, alumni initiatives and other special events, marketing, leadership, video, and more.鈥��

Three awards among government agencies

UOG's anniversary exhibit also won first place in the 鈥淪pecial Purpose Product鈥� category of the National Association of Government Communicators (NAGC) Blue Pencil and Gold Screen Awards and second place awards in the "Print Display" and 鈥淪pecial Event or Conference鈥� categories.

The awards were given in April 2023 in Portland, Oregon.

The exhibit allowed Guam residents to learn about 70 years of UOG鈥檚 history in an interactive 3,000-square-foot museum space at the Senator Antonio M. Palomo Guam Museum and Chamorro Educational Facility in Hag氓t帽a. The exhibit drew almost 2,500 guests including more than 700 students and raised $10,000 for the UOG Endowment Foundation. 

"Our 70th Anniversary Exhibit was produced and coordinated by teams across the University, said UOG Acting President Anita Borja Enriquez. "These awards recognize that the rich history of UOG and the work we produce are exceptional among our peers in government and in higher education.鈥�
