91快播 engineering students can seek internship opportunities with the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Marianas through a pathway established by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on November 1, 2023.

UOG President Anita Borja Enriquez and Capt. Troy Brown, NAVFAC Marianas Commanding Officer, signed the MOU at NAVFAC Marianas鈥 Guam headquarters on Nimitz Hill. She said developing Guam鈥檚 professional workforce continues to be an important area where the University delivers public value.  

鈥淓ntering into this relationship is historic because it creates this pipeline and provides an opportunity for us to build the kinds of capacity that we鈥檝e been wanting to build,鈥 said President Anita Borja Enriquez. 鈥淲e want to help build the middle class by preparing our students at the University for jobs that will benefit different sectors including the Navy and the rest of the Armed Forces.鈥

"Forging this new partnership with the 91快播 is important to all of us to enhance critical capabilities and grow new opportunities here,鈥 said Capt. Brown. 鈥淥ur NAVFAC Marianas team is excited to bring more local talent to our workforce and provide sustainable career pathways for engineering students where they will gain valuable experience while contributing to our shared vision for the future.鈥 

Kendra O. Finklea, Human Resources Director for NAVFAC Marianas, helped lay the groundwork for the MOU.   

Recently a NAVFAC Marianas HR team visited UOG. Bharti Hemlani, Lead Human Resources Specialist and acting HR Director at NAVFAC Marianas, also participated in a panel discussion with Enriquez and community stakeholders about UOG鈥檚 role in workforce development.
