UOG鈥檚 healthy aging and cooking series to return in December
Adults of all ages are invited to a six-session wellness class focused on embracing aging and cooking healthy meals. Back by popular demand from earlier this year, the series combines the curriculum of the Nihi ta Fanmama鈥檛inas (Let鈥檚 Cook) and the Keys to Embracing Healthy Aging programs taught by 91快播 Cooperative Extension & Outreach.
The classes will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Dec. 2, 4, 6, 11, 16, and 18 in the Agriculture & Life Sciences Building, Room 125B, on the UOG campus.
Led by extension associates Clarissa Barcinas, Katrina Macasaquit, and Iesha Ibanez and family and consumer science specialist Dr. Tim de La Cruz, each class will cover a cooking topic and a topic on healthy aging according to the following schedule:

Wellness Topic: Social Activity and Tuning into the Times

Wellness Topic: Sleep and Taking Time for You
Each session has a registration fee of $10, which covers workshop materials and food samples. Participants are encouraged to sign up for all six sessions.
