Now a Paralegal in the Attorney General鈥檚 Office, Fortuno credits his UOG experience with giving him the critical thinking, communication, and adaptability necessary to succeed in a fast-paced legal environment.
"My time at UOG instilled in me a deep sense of civic responsibility and a passion for lifelong learning. The skills I developed鈥攃ritical thinking, communication, and adaptability鈥攈ave been invaluable in my role at the Attorney General鈥檚 Office and in serving our island community," said Fortuno.
Through his student teaching internship at John F. Kennedy High School, he gained firsthand experience in professional settings, learning to be resourceful and effective under pressure鈥攕kills that now serve him well in his legal career.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Fortuno is actively engaged in public service, contributing to the Attorney General鈥檚 Office School Tours and educating students on the dangers of drug use. His ability to connect with young people stems from his background in education鈥攁n example of how UOG graduates bring their expertise and passion to fields beyond the classroom.
