The Lady Tritons of the 91快播 lost their opening match in the Lady Triton Volleyball League on Wednesday night, April 2, falling 3-0 to Au Mana in the UOG Calvo Field House. The Lady Bombers improved their record in the league to 2-0 with a win over Guam Pro 2 on the same night.
In the opener, the Lady Tritons, playing with only two players from the fall team of 2024, appeared like a brand new team playing for the first time. They lost to Au Mana, a two-time champion of the Triton League, 25-9 in the first set.
The Lady Tritons improved as the match progressed, losing the second set 25-17. They maintained a similar performance in the third set, losing 25-18, but managed to lead 11-10 in the final set before ultimately losing it.
UOG is now 0-1 in the league, while Au Mana is 1-0.
The Lady Bombers easily defeated Guam Pro 2 in a 3-0 match in the nightcap. The first set was the best set, with the Bombers winning 25-15, and they closed out the match with 25-11 wins in the second and third sets.
The Lady Bombers are now 2-0 in the Triton League, While Guam Pro 2 is 0-2.
