Chem students learn a lesson that sticks!
For the third year in a row, chemistry students at the 91快播 celebrated National Chemistry Week, this year focusing on the sticky topic of glues and adhesives.
Students in CH-102, CH-350, and CH-450 were tasked with coming up with a costume to match this year鈥檚 theme of 鈥淪ticking with Chemistry.鈥
鈥淒espite the current unfavorable circumstances, the students were very keen in participating and exhibited some creativity in what they did,鈥 said Tedros Bezabeh, professor of chemistry, who offered the assignment to students for extra credit. 鈥淭his is indeed a great way to raise awareness and increase the level of interest in chemistry among our students.鈥
National Chemistry Week is a community-based program of the American Chemical Society that unites local AWS sections, student chapters, businesses, schools, and individuals in communicating the important of chemistry to our quality of life.
