On behalf of the Board of Regents and the administration of the 91快播, we thank you for your dedication to your education and for your commitment to the health and safety of your fellow Tritons. All students and employees attending in-person classes this semester are either fully vaccinated or have an approved accommodation. Our safety protocols are working and have kept on-campus transmissions very low throughout the pandemic.

Registration for the Tinalo鈥� 2021 intersession and the Fa帽omn氓kan 2022 semester will begin in the coming weeks. This memo serves as notice of the vaccination and accommodation requirements for enrolled students during these upcoming semesters.

The guidance presented below may be subject to change on short notice based on evolving guidance through the governor鈥檚 executive orders and the Department of Public Health and Social Services.

Students Registering for Online Classes

Students looking to attend only online classes are not subject to any vaccination requirements and may register as normal on their respective registration dates. Visit to view the latest course schedule and classes being offered in an online format.

Students Registering for In-Person Classes

Below are COVID-19 vaccination requirements for all students looking to enroll in in-person classes for Tinalo鈥� 2021 intersession (Dec.-Jan.), Fa帽omn氓kan 2022 (Jan.-May), and the Finakpo鈥� 2022 summer sessions.

• To register for in-person Tinalo鈥� 2021 intersession courses, students must be fully vaccinated or have an approved accommodation submitted prior to registering for any in-person classes.
• To register for in-person Fa帽omn氓kan 2022 courses, students have until two weeks before classes start (or until Jan. 4) to submit proof of vaccination or an approved accommodation letter. This means students needing to be vaccinated must get their first dose of a two-dose vaccine no later than Dec. 13 or must get a single-dose vaccine no later than Jan. 4.
• To register for in-person Finakpo鈥� 2022 Summer Session courses, students will have until two weeks before classes start (or until May 17) to submit proof of vaccination or an approved accommodation letter. This means students needing to be vaccinated must get their first dose of a two-dose vaccine no later than April 25 or must get a single-dose vaccine no later than May 17.
• Students who register for in-person classes and are not fully vaccinated or do not have an approved accommodation two weeks before classes start may potentially be transferred to an online section of the course if available. If an online section is not offered or space in an online section is not available, the student may be subject to de-registration procedures, which may impact financial aid and eligibility for federal student relief.
• Students who already submitted their vaccination documents or received an accommodation for the Fanuch氓nan 2021 (Aug.-Dec.) semester DO NOT need to resubmit.
• COVID-19 booster shots and additional doses of Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are not required for employees or students. However, those who are eligible to receive them are encouraged to do so. Submission of these immunizations are not required.

Proof of vaccination or letters of accommodation must be submitted to the Student Health Office using the secure online HIPAA-compliant form at .

Students Seeking Accommodations to Attend In-Person Classes

Students unable to be vaccinated for medical or religious reasons may seek an approved accommodation from the vaccination requirement for in-person classes. Those seeking a medical or disability accommodation must submit evidence of their medical reason or disability to the EEO/ADA/Title IX office. Students seeking an accommodation for a sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance must make an appointment with the EEO/ADA/Title IX office.

• COVID-19 testing for students with accommodations: Students who have an approved accommodation are required to submit a weekly negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test every Friday using the secure online HIPAA-compliant form at .
  
  NOTE: This requirement will continue for the duration that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) rates Guam鈥檚 COVID-19 Travel Health Notice at 鈥淟evel 3 鈥� High鈥� or above. Guam is currently at 鈥淟evel 4 鈥� Very High,鈥� which indicates there have been more than 500 positive COVID cases per 100,000 people over the last 28 days. For more information about CDC鈥檚 travel notices, visit: . Testing may also be implemented should the UOG president require mandatory testing in response to an outbreak of COVID-19 on campus.
