National Chemistry Week costumes
Upper-division chemistry students in Dr. Tedros Bezabeh鈥檚 class sport the costumes they created for this year鈥檚 National Chemistry Week theme of Fabulous Fibers.

For the fifth year in a row, chemistry students at the 91快播 celebrated National Chemistry Week in October by coming up with creative costumes based on this year鈥檚 theme of Fabulous Fibers: The Chemistry of Fabrics.

Students in Professor Tedros Bezabeh鈥檚 General Chemistry (CH-102) and upper-level Foundations of Physical Chemistry (CH-350) and Physical Chemistry (CH-450) classes were tasked with posting a photo of themselves in costume and wearing their costumes to class.

is a community-based program of the American Chemical Society that unites local AWS sections, student chapters, businesses, schools, and individuals in communicating the important of chemistry to our quality of life.

The annual national event makes chemistry fun and increases student interest in the subject, Bezabeh said.
