4-H Summer Camps now open for registration
The 4-H Youth Development Program at the 91¿ì²¥ will be holding 12 themed summer camps for children ages 6 to 18. The first set of week-long camps begins on May 28.
New to the 4-H camp lineup this summer are camps focused on health and wellness, gardening, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), and home economics. The popular fisheries camp, which teaches fishing safety, how to cast a rod and reel, how to cast a net, and ridge-to-reef environmental stewardship, will be offered this year for both middle and high school aged youth.
To register, visit the 4-H office in Room 111 of the Agriculture & Life Sciences building on the UOG campus, or call 671-735-2040. For more information, email 4-H State Program Leader Cliff Kyota at ckyota@triton.uog.edu.
